Chamomilla Homeopathic Remedy

Chamomilla is called for in diseases of the young, where peevishness, restlessness, and colic give the needful indications. Spiteful and snappish. Complaints from anger and vexation. Wants to be carried and petted constantly. Intolerant of being spoken to. Cham. is sensitive, irritable, thirsty, hot and numb. Extremely sensitive to every pain; pains are unendurable.

A disposition that is mild, calm and gentle, with sluggish and constipated bowels, contra-indicate chamomilla.

  • Acute illness in young animals
  • For pain, especially in the head region (teething, earache)
  • Difficult dentition, offensive green stools, may often be treated successfully with Chamomilla.
  • Extreme restlessness with colicky symptoms and irritability.
  • After the birthing process if the dam is fretful, excited or upset for any reason (possibly mastitis developing).
  • In some cases of epilepsy and convulsions, under the guidance of a veterinarian.
  • Constitutional aspects of Chamomilla are a mild disposition, active, sensitive, irritable, thirsty, fractious, over sensitive to stimulants and cannot bear pain.



< Worse: For anger, open air, at night (9pm -midnight).
> Better: For for being held, warm, wet weather.

Complimentary: Belladonna and Mag Carb

Antidotes: Camphor, Nux Vomica and Pulsatilla

Dose: 6c, 12c and 30c potency.
